The kids and I have been doing "preschool" at home for a little while now. It's been really fun... Micaiah can recognize the letters "S" and "M" and when we are out and about he points them out to me! So I've been looking for an old coffee table to turn into a desk for the playroom so that Elijah can play with toys while the bigger boys and I work on "school". Of course, I wanted something super cheap or free that I could just paint into exactly what I want! :)
Some friends brought this over to our house to put in our garage sale, and I immediately knew it was perfect! Originally I wanted a rectangle, but really an oval is a much better idea for a playroom!

I painted the top with chalkboard paint so when we aren't doing preschool they can play and draw on top! This project was basically free which makes it even better I used all of the same paints and materials from my cabinet door chalkboards. Now, I just need to find some little chairs to go with it, and we'll be set!
What do y'all think? Do you do "preschool" at home? Where do you work?
