If y'all are anything like me, your fridge looks something like this....
Pictures falling off all the time...and a giant, stressed out mess! I have wanted to tackle this beast for a long time, and I finally have.... With photo frame magnets! Wanna see?
Now, obviously, I don't have as many pictures on my fridge... But, it is so much neater this way. And, I took my favorite pictures and framed them in other parts of our house! :) Wanna make some too? Here's how I did it...
Start out with some photo frames from the dollar store! (These are the best for this project because they are really light so they hold well!)

Take out the glass, and paint them whatever colors you want... I used two coats on mine. Let them dry completely, and then use a piece of sandpaper to distress the edges if you want.
Then, pull the stand off of the back so that your picture frame will lay flat and add magnets to the back! (I bought a 100 foot roll of magnets at the craft store for around $5.) The magnets already had a sticky back, but I attached them with Modge Podge as well so that it would hold better. (Make sure that you work the bends out of the magnets before you try to attach them or they will curl back on you!) My backs aren't super pretty... but you don't see 'em! :)

Also, if they ever fall off, I don't want to deal with all of that glass! They don't seem flimsy, though... They are holding up really well!) For my note-hanger... I just pulled a string around to the back, taped it, and Modge Podged over it so that it would hold. Then, added clips for our notes or cards!
You can also use these frames to make a calendar that will easily wipe off with a dry erase marker...
Or just to add funny things to your fridge to make you smile!
Let me know what you think! And, if you make one send me a picture! I wanna see yours too!
