2014 has been a crazy year around the Bennett house!
We have thrown 3 birthday parties, tiled all 3 bathrooms, built 3 dining tables, re-did several pieces of furniture, built a headboard, reupholstered chairs, created a kitchen command center, built 2 chalkboards, painted 2 others, built shelves in several rooms, created rustic clipboards, and threw a Christmas shindig all while raising and loving on 3 lil' men, making new friends, hanging out with old ones, starting kindergarten, couponing, reading, and all kinds of crazy life in between...
Whew! We made it! :)
To celebrate, I wanna take a look back at my top 5 favorite posts of 2014.

Whew! We made it! :)
To celebrate, I wanna take a look back at my top 5 favorite posts of 2014.
1. Kitchen Command Center
By far, my Command Center is my favorite project of the year! It added much needed decoration and practicality to my kitchen! It is still helping me out every single day.
2. Elijah's 1st birthday
Elijah's birthday was so much fun this year. I was able to get really creative and I just loved how everything turned out. Plus, I later used a lot of the decor for the boys bedroom! ;)
3. DIY Lantern Light Fixture
I really enjoyed this project because I was able to take an ugly, old light from the Habitat ReStore and turn it into an awesome fixture. I love upcycling and creating a new life for old things!
4. Half Bath Renovation
Our half-bath is now one of my favorite rooms in the whole house. Mostly because of that beautiful board and batten that I now want EVERYWHERE. :)
5. The 5 Core Values of the Proverbs 31 Woman
I really loved writing this post because it forced me to sit down and say, "What kind of woman do I want to be?" I really searched through this amazing role model in the bible, and pulled out the ways in which I want to emulate her. This has had a huge impact on how I'm approaching my goal-setting for 2015.
