One of my favorite creations from our Airplane Party last weekend was the "In-Flight Peanuts" Map Wraps.
I loved the idea from Spaceships and Laserbeams, but I couldn't find a tutorial on it.
Now, of course, it's just folding paper, and I feel like I shouldn't need a tutorial. BUT, it makes me much more confident in tackling something when I can see what some one else did. A lot of times, I do it a little bit differently, and there might be a better way out there than how I did it. But, for anyone else who likes to have some direction to follow, here's what I did: :)

First, I gathered a bunch of maps from a map book and cut off the edges. Now, this map book was basically unused. (I wouldn't suggest taking maps from a well-used book if you are going to put food in them! That's just gross. :) But, if you are using old maps, these would be great for little party favors!)
Fold the maps in half, hamburger style, and then fold down the top edge of the front and back two times. After you fold down the first side it'll look like this...

Then, fold each side onto the back, and meet them in the middle. Sorry for the crappy pictures... I took them quickly on my phone, and they looked good until I put them on the computer. :/
Hold down the back, and tape the two sides together. Then, gather all of the paper at the top, and leave the main opening. Tape up the rest of the papers at the top. Like so...
I also put a piece of tape on the bottom, just to make me feel like it was really secure. :)
And you are done!
And you are done!
I added some airplanes to the front so that they would match everything else. You could leave them just like this, or add stickers, or names, or whatever else you want to do!
Snacks, party favors.... Would else would y'all use these for? Let me know in the comments below!
