So, just like I told you in my Kitchen Command Center post, my big goal recently has been to get organized and find a way to get more of the stuff done that I want to get done.
In order for me to do that, I need to have lists written out and things to check off because if I don't they'll never happen. Anyone else feel totally lost without lists?! Plus, it feels great to place a little checkmark next to all the stuff I've finished! :) So, I shared with y'all our Weekly Preschool Objectives and now, our new cleaning schedule so that I can stay ahead of the hot mess! :)
I pick up every day, our house is rarely a huge mess because Chris and I just can't live like that for long. Which is just one of the things I love about my awesome husband! :) But, there are areas of the house that never get cleaned because I just don't think about them.

Enter my new list. So far, it has been very helpful! Everything is marked out so that I know what needs to get done, and I just... getter done. :)

The biggest challenge I think I am going to face is just making sure to get the laundry done. When I stay on top of it, life is so much easier, but staying on top of it proves difficult at times. So, we'll just see how that goes.
Like I said before, I don't live and die by these lists. If stuff doesn't get done, I'm not going to totally stress over it. It is just a tool for me to keep my house a little cleaner. If you look close enough in that picture, this week has been a little crazy. So, Friday's chores got done on Monday, and Monday's will move to Friday. And, today I have some catching up to do, etc.
Obviously, life with 3 lil men does not fit into a neat, tidy little box, and I don't expect it to! So, for all you Mamas out there, I totally hope that this tool can be useful for you but not an extra stress. So please, please, please use it if it will be helpful and remind yourself how awesome you are with every box you check off! I even add extra checks for the chores that have multiple parts... It feels good! And just ignore the ones that don't checked off this time around. :) They'll get their turn eventually.
